Nation and Adaptation

This month on the Darfur Radio Project, “Nation and Adaptation”. We explore different facets of the Sudanese identity, and take a hard look at current politics within the country.

Four Corners

Far From Home

In “Far From Home”, the Darfur Radio Project looks at what it means to be a refugee from Sudan. How do refugees get out of Darfur, and where do they go? We speak with a young Darfuri man frustrated with trying to navigate the red tape facing aslyum seekers in England. Then, the story of a Lost Boy who left Southern Sudan years ago and is still waiting to return. Finally, the efforts of a Darfuri refugee in the US to bring peace to the home he hasn’t seen in years.
